Retracing Jack Kerouac nominated for the Liebster Award

I messed up my previous attempt of reblogging the post by Katherine C Mead-Brewer so I am posting it again – here’s the link to Katherine’s fine blog Writing Reconsidered (more information about that coming soon on Retracing Jack Kerouac): http://howlinghowl.wordpress.com/2013/10/04/nominated-for-the-liebster-award/

As the rules stipulate that you nominate 10 other blogs with less than 200 followers there will be another post in the next few days with my nominations, but to start things off here are my answers to Katherine’s questions:
1. Hobbies?: Hiking, music, books, cinema, art (paintings mostly). Pretty boring list I know but these things contain enough to keep me busy for this lifetime, at the very least
2. Pets? Not yet, but I guess I will get a dog someday, and call him Jack Kerouac. Would love to have a chipmunk too, they are the cutest!
3. Fave TV show: The Wire Season 2 (by far the best)
4. Fave artist: Too many to mention, but Edward Hopper, Maynard Dixon, George C Ault, Marvin Cone are pretty high on the list
5. Fave city: That’s easy – San Francisco, naturally (I quite like London a lot too, though)
6. Ranking things or leave them hanging and unlabeled? The latter, ranking is too hard
7. What are you working on right now? My new blog Back Road Bound and my travel memoir (forthcoming in about 5 years if all goes well,ha)
8. Coffee or tea? Coffee, always, tea for breakfast? Ugh!
9. No opinion, sorry.
10. Dream job as a little kid: Truck driver

Thank you Katherine!
